With over 10 years in the RV industry, Doug has sold over 1200 RVs, learning the strengths and weakness of each brand and floor plan. Due to his extensive experience, he has sold at large events such as Hershey and Minneapolis and is factory certified on Thor, Forrest River and Winnebago units. He has even been to factories for large brands such as Winnebago, Rockwood, Keystone, Montana, Heartland, Northwoods, Outdoors RV, etc. so he has seen firsthand how these units are constructed.
Prior to RV sales, Doug was in the auto sales industry for over 12 years, which is invaluable for clients looking for the right tow vehicle for their RV and/or toad (aka tow behind vehicle) for Class A and C rigs. He also is an offroad enthusiast who enjoys playing in the sand wash with his customized FJ Cruiser, which he uses to tow his own travel trailer with.
What makes Doug unique is that he not only sold RVs for over a decade, but he has owned numerous RVs and has lived full time on the road for the past 2 years. As such, he knows what it’s like to not only buy but also live in an RV firsthand.
Doug is the President & Owners of Nomadic Solar and More, a company focused on helping RV owners live off grid. Whether it’s designing and installing a customized solar system to meet your needs or troubleshooting a mechanical/electrical issue with your rig, Doug can likely diagnose and often fix your issue. Doug combines his mechanical engineering background with his RV and automotive experience to create custom modification solutions to uniquely solve his client’s needs. And hopefully have a little fun along the way too.
